Fans Think Jennifer Lopez’s Famous Ex Looks Unrecognizable in New Birthday Photo

Jennifer Lopez’s famous ex turned 50 on July 27, 2025. The pair were engaged but ended their relationship four years ago.

Alex Rodriguez, a former baseball player, is now dating Jaclyn Cordeiro, an internet personality and entrepreneur. He recently posed for a photo with his new girlfriend as they smiled together outdoors. Cordeiro posted a birthday tribute to her boyfriend on Instagram and wrote, “50 looks good on him… but so does Italy. Lucky me, I get both. Happy Birthday Love.”

While the fitness and lifestyle coach praised Rodriguez’s looks, some people online felt differently and shared their opinions in the comments. “He looks like [sic] 65???? What happened to the handsome Alex?” asked one person. Another wrote, “He only look [sic] good when he was with JLO, now he looks old and not attractive at all.” Someone else added, “Didn’t even recognize him!! Omg😳.”

Many more comments followed about the now-businessman’s appearance. One said, “50!! He looks 60!!! Omg not aging well at all!!!” Another guessed, “Way too much sun!!..His skin is leather🤦‍♀️.”

Before dating Cordeiro, Rodriguez, who once resisted doing a Hollywood issue, was engaged to Lopez. They ended their two-year engagement in April 2021 with a joint statement that read:

But two years later, their relationship ended. A friend of Lopez shared at the time that the “Shotgun Wedding” star “insisted” on the breakup because she and Rodriguez had too many problems. Other insiders said Lopez could not fully “trust” Rodriguez anymore. According to the friend, the Hollywood star was unhappy and felt it was best to end the relationship.

They began having problems during the COVID-19 pandemic when Lopez was in the Dominican Republic filming a movie. The distance made it hard for the couple to spend time together with their blended family.
