Meghan recently gushed about being in California with her and Harry’s children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three. Meanwhile, Harry remains in Canada for more events leading up to the Invictus Games closing ceremony.

While at home in Montecito, Meghan used her Instagram Story to show support for Invictus Games participants. She also posted a photo of thoughtful keepsakes from the event, including, two sports shirts personalized with her children’s names. Other items she brought back from Canada were snacks and fruits.

The Duchess wrote in the post, “A taste of Canada and The Invictus Games for our little ones! Cheering you on from home.”

Her post didn’t sit well with some online users who had questions about her kids’ social lives and why she transported fresh food. One person sarcastically remarked“Fancy taking home stale food to your children because you didn’t want them enjoying the ‘family orientated’ [sic] Invictus Games.”

Another seemed puzzled, asking“What kids, why didn’t they get to go to the games? Huh?” The discussion continued, with one comment suggesting a secluded upbringing, “Don’t these children go anywhere? They just live inside the four walls. No contact with other children or the outside world?”

Another surprised user exclaimed, “Imagine all that manky food in her luggage!!!” A different user expressed sympathy for the Sussex children, “And I feel sorry for those kids, they never get to go anywhere.”

Meanwhile, someone else had a more supportive take on Meghan’s brief appearance at the event, “It was fun to be able to at least spend a little bit of time supporting her husband and supporting the veterans who were working so hard. Bet she missed their kiddos❤️.” Still, one person with different views bluntly stated“She should not be there anyway.”

Amid the skepticism, one person took a more positive approach, saying“Good for her and the children.”
